I’m 29 years old and grew up in central Oklahoma. I’ve been working waterfowl over water sheds, lake coves, peanut fields, and river bottom sloughs since I was 9 years old. My wife Crystal and I have 2 kids, Kyleigh 11 ½ and Mason 7 months old. We reside in Moore, Oklahoma just south of Oklahoma City close to the University of Oklahoma. I’m a bank manager for one of the largest banks in the state. In my free time I’m a catcher and short-stop for a local baseball team and in the fall and winter I’m hunting or guiding ducks and geese. About 3 years ago, my love and passion for the sport of waterfowl brought me into competition duck and goose calling. I hit the stage for the first time in 2005 in a duck calling contest, took 2nd and since then I’ve never looked back. I’ve been fortunate to place in many duck and goose calling contest and even took 1st place in the 2006 Oklahoma State Duck Calling Contest which qualified me for the World Duck Calling Championship.
Shawn, I wanted to run it by you that I've spoken to Daniel a few times about having you all down to stay at our lodge and hunt ducks and geese.
We have a lodge to sleep about 5-6 people and a flooded slough surrounded by timber 3/4 away from the waterfowl Mecca of Oklahoma. We also have a ton of corn and harvested soy bean "no till drilled wheat" fields to pound the geese on. Give me about a 2 week notice to make sure I don't have anyone booked and it wouldn't cost you a dime, just gas and video. You would have to hook me up with some goose and duck calls though. Our lodge is located 1 1/2 hours south of OKC.
