Todays CallaPalooza "Tribute Call" features Butch Richenback. Butch Richenback, Founder of Rich-N-Tone Calls in 1976, is the most famous callmaker of his generation. Richenback learned callmaking and calling from his mentor Chick Major, maker of the Dixie Mallard Call. Richenback’s earliest calls were unbranded and had no lanyard groove. He emulated the shape of his uncle’s call, Clyde Hancock. In the early stages he experimented with the lip of his calls. He even made one or two of these early calls with no lip. Eventually the lip of his call became one of his calls trademark. Limited quantities of 50 wood and 50 acrylic. Online only.

The Flying Duck Co. product line was created for the hunter that has an appreciation for the traditions and history of the sport of waterfowling. Our intent is to educate and further promote the passion for preserving this pastime through products from waterfowling days of old.
