Mark Weedman inspired Limited Run of 50.
We hand-cut and individually glued each acrylic disk to form call blanks in each unique colorway.
Mark Weedman was the maker of Weedy’s Pin Oak duck call. He started making calls in 1940s in Little Rock, Arkansas. Mark Weedman was a friend of AM Bowles, a call maker from North Little Rock. Mark’s early calls were made of wood and resembled Bowles early smooth barrel calls. In 1950s, Weedman discovered that he could make a call from acrylic. He began laminating small pieces of scrap acrylic together, from Cope Plastics. These laminated calls are highly desirable by collectors and have become Mark’s legacy.
