
Grilled Teal with Blueberry Sauce
INGREDIENTS
- Whole Teal
- 1 lb blueberries
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup Flyway Bluewing Beer
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
- 1 jalapeno (seeded & chopped)
Season the Teal with salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce and marinate overnight. Grill the teal breast side down with the grill lid closed for 8 minutes. Turn the teal over on the grill for 3 minutes with the grill lid open.
Blueberry Sauce
- 2 cups of Water
- 1 container of Blueberries
- 1 cup of sugar
Bring the mixture to a boil and then simmer for 5 minutes. Strain the mixture. Put the sauce back on the heat and bring to a boil.
- Add 1/4 cup of Bluewing beer
- Add 1 Jalapeno (seeded & chopped)
- Add 1/2 cup of onion (chopped)
- Add 2 whole garlic cloves (minced)
Simmer the blueberry sauce while grilling the teal (10 minutes).
