Happy Halloween. Our Limited Run, Halloween-inspired Straight Barrel Mondo, is made with an Orange Acrylic tip, a Black and Orange striped Acrylic sleeved barrel, and a Black Acrylic insert. The perfect call for “Tricks and Treats”… Limited run of 30 Calls.
Straight Barrel Mondo
The “Mondo” was developed after a style of calling that built it’s reputation on putting “Mondo” wads of ducks in the woods. This call is reminiscent of the Cut Down Key Hole calls made famous by guides hunting high-pressured, public ground ducks in the hardwood bottoms of Arkansas and Louisiana. The Mondo has a very short insert that creates very little back pressure which allows the call to produce that hard, loud, raspy lick of a mallard hen, as well as that trademark loud squeaky chatter desired by the guides in these public areas. The “Mondo” has the range to Break ‘em out high, set ‘em up downwind, and talk ‘em into giving up… All you have to do is drive it!
